Focus:Research Collaboration & Rural Empowerment
At Green Pahadi Foundation, we’re passionate about fostering connections that bridge academic insights with grassroots realities. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting Kanika Rajawat, a Master’s student from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU), at our nurtured initiative, Supnya FPC Ltd.
Kanika’s thesis centers on the transformative role of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in enhancing rural livelihoods. Her dedication to understanding how FPOs contribute to training, collective marketing, and sustainable practices resonated deeply with our mission.
Highlights of the Visit
Interactive Sessions: Kanika engaged with local farmers, gaining firsthand insights into their experiences and the pivotal role FPOs play in their lives.
Data Collection: She conducted comprehensive data gathering, which will enrich her research and shed light on the successes and challenges within rural communities.
Knowledge Exchange: The visit fostered a two-way learning process, blending academic perspectives with practical wisdom from the field.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kanika for her enthusiasm and valuable contributions. Her work exemplifies the powerful impact of collaboration between students and grassroots organizations.
At Green Pahadi Foundation, we believe that such partnerships are crucial in driving meaningful change and uplifting rural lives. We’re committed to creating platforms where ideas flourish, and communities thrive.
