Green Pahadi Foundation collaborated with Udyogini, as a technical and implementation partner, for Oracle’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The initiative aimed to equip target beneficiaries with advanced skills in Mushroom Cultivation and Crop Management. The project not only provided specialized trainings but also emphasized improving agricultural practices to ensure long-term sustainability and economic growth in rural communities.

Key Highlights

  1. Comprehensive training programs:
  • Conducted a one-month training program targeting a cohort of 100 farmers.
  • Delivered a holistic curriculum blending theoretical sessions with hands-on practical training focused on:
  • Mushroom cultivation from understanding suitable climatic and growing conditions to suitable varieties to harvesting, processing, and packaging.
  • Step-by-step guidance on crop management, including soil preparation, irrigation, and pest control.
  • Mastering harvesting techniques for optimal yield and quality.
  1. On-ground implementation support: Farmers received direct guidance from GPF Experts during the training period to apply the learned techniques effectively.
  2. Post-training mentorship: Continuous support and follow-up sessions were provided to ensure the successful adoption of new practices.

  • Skill-development of 100 Farmers, enabling them to adopt mushroom cultivation as a secondary income stream, reducing dependency on traditional crops.
